Ryan M. Camara provides a variety of continuing education and professional development opportunities for educators at all levels. Whether a one day district in-service or focused week of training, Ryan's programs can help provide you with the necessary skills to bring authentic West African music alive in your classrooms in a fun and easy-to-learn format.
Ryan and co-author Kalani have recently developed a new levels training program for their curriculum: West African Drum and Dance: A Yankadi-Macrou Celebration from Alfred Publishing to feature at the new World Rhythms Arts Program Courses.
The World Rhythms Arts Program (WRAP) Summer Course provides professionals and enthusiasts in music-based fields with the skills and knowledge they need to be informed and effective. WRAP instructors represent the top of their fields, with years of experience as professional performers, and educators. Classes focus on developing a working knowledge of instruments, rhythms, dances, songs, styles, methods, and applications. CEU's may be available.
